Very terrible app. Pretty much forces you to make an account and subscribe in order to do the most basic things. Downloading, making a library & playlist, favoriting an artist are all things that REQUIRE a subscription. I paid for the music, I should be able to download it right after that, but instead you are forced to jump through hoops. Like, I don't even have access to the music ANYWHERE unless I use this app.

A free account is required to use our app. A free trial or subscription is required to create a playlist, add Artists your Favorites and/or save audio for offline playback. Pure annoyance 1 star. I cannot STAND how the app doesnt actually close when you close the app. It keeps running in the background and you have to manually "stop" the app like 10 times, then it just reopens again in the background anyway; especially when using Android Auto. Second, when using Android Auto and picking a show, why can't you see the entire set list? You HAVE to pick the 1st song of the show unless you're using your phone which defeats the purpose of Android Auto.

Sorry for the trouble you're having. Android Auto limits the amount of information we can put on screen. After starting a recording you can click the 'Queue' button to see a list of songs in the show. Please contact us on help.nugs.net so we can try to help resolve the problems you're having.

Dev response confirms my issue. there's no legitimate reason to block downloads from mobile browsers except to push you towards their subscription service. ... It's annoying that I cannot listen to a show I've paid for in my library on mobile with this app. I cannot download the flac files I've paid for from the mobile website. When I try to download them from the app I get prompted to join their subscription service and am never allowed to download the files I paid for. Super Scummy.

It is not possible to download purchased audio to a mobile device. A Mac or PC is required to complete the secure downloads. You can also stream your purchases using the nugs mobile app. Offline downloads within the nugs app are only available to nugs subscribers.
