About this game

Dunlight is a random defense game that combines the chess genre and the defense genre. Block monsters in the dungeon with your own choices in a situation of randomly given heroes, items, and options.

*Various Traits
Each hero has their own unique traits. If you make good use of the traits of the heroes, they will be of great help in conquering the dungeon.

*Dozens of equipment items
You can get items by killing monsters or from Merchant. The acquired items can be equipped to the hero to further strengthen.

*Treasure
Treasures acquired by exploring dungeons can also create powerful synergies with heroes, traits, and equipment items.

*Random Map
In addition to Defense, there are many other options such as Event, Merchant, and Treasure. You are free to choose any option, but you need to be a little cautious. The more you explore dungeons, the stronger the monsters become.

*Offline mode
Dunlight supports offline mode. Some features are not available in offline mode.

*Precautions when deleting games

Extremely good game, but it could benefit from some quality of life improvements like: being able to see a units stats before buying them, being able to move units around after placing them, and a better way to see your bonuses from traits and how many heroes you have of each. It's easily 5/5 with tons of different units with different abilities that invite a ton of strategy and fun, and unique builds made possible with items. Great game overall.

An ok TFT/Tower Defense hybrid. You can't move units once placed and what makes that way worse is you can't see unit abilities or descriptions until you buy and place them. On top of that there's no prep phase so you're pretty much just placing things down a few seconds before everything spawns. There's also no set bonuses for the traits so other than Resonance there's no huge bonus to having multiple of a trait. Maybe with improvements it could be a 4/5

I've had a great time with this game, learning synergies and what placement works best for certain troops has been really rewarding. Some units you think are basically garbage or not even worth getting at the beginning of the game end up being crucial pieces for a winning strategy later in the game when it gets tough. 9/10, my only wish being able to move units after you place them but I get it is a deliberate decision because it makes planning much more important for the late game
