The introduction told me everything I needed to know. Features are introduced as they're naturally uncovered, and it doesn't feel like bloat at the start. The power ups are fun and engaging, the rogue elements are nice and the gameplay is decently challenging. I wish the rooms had a bit more variety, but the enemy layouts themselves are nice. No driving after a few hours is odd but probably a good choice to differentiate the sequel. I'd play it! and will continue to do so.

The game is great, my only complaint is that the artic explorer level is completely broken, the ingame model of the vehicle is the fully upgraded version but only visually and hit box wise so you get stuck everywhere without having the power to run through, the sky box of the level is also broken with a huge black line at the top cutting the rest of the scenario.

The gameplay loop is fun and the interface is well designed for mobile controls. There's no way to completely eliminate ads and the upgrades feel pay to win. This game also suffers from the lack of incentive to progress, as the levels scale up much faster than player equipment. In fact, there is incentive not to progress because the difficulty of seasonal events scales based on your highest stage, so players are essentially punished for advancing too quickly.
