More difficult and expensive than buying tickets at the train station. Maybe more comprehensive filters would help. I had to be very flexible and still ended up having to fly from Milan to Amsterdam because of strikes and wildly inconvenient layovers (midnight to 6am in a German station, for ex). Plus I had to pay extra for all but one trip, even with a 1st class ticket. I have 7 days left on my pass, I took 2 flights I hadn't planned on, for around $450 and the pass cost $600+ $15/ea. trip.

this app is terrible. I cannot figure out how to use each travel day, planning journeys makes no sense, I create duplicates of the same trip I want to take, without being able to then actually book the tickets. it's not at all intuitive, and I'm more frustrated with each time I need to travel. awful

This is the most ridiculous app I have ever used. It's unorganized, it's not straightforward. You have to book seats for 95% of trains which cost extra. If you have a problem, you have to email customer service so good luck catching your train or getting a response in time. When booking a seat, the app redirects you to another website and will tell you that train does not exist even though it is clearly on the app. This will turn your relaxing vacation into an anxiety filled $#!% show. 0 Stars
