About this app

The DSB app is part of your journey. Here you can find tickets, commuter cards, and traffic information.

In the DSB app, you can purchase Orange tickets, a commuter card, or use Check in, and see current traffic information and an overview of departures. You can also buy a seat reservation for your trip.

You can find cheap Orange and Orange Free tickets on a wide selection of our departures.

Check in is a new digital ticket at Rejsekort prices*, for those who need to travel here and now. Just swipe before you board, and travel as far as needed with all public transport in Zealand, Funen, and Jutland. We will check you out automatically or remind you to do so.

When you buy a ticket or check in through our app, you earn points on your journey, which can be used at 7-Eleven at the station. You just need to be logged in with your DSB Plus profile and accept our points terms. And if you check in, part of the journey must be with DSB trains.

You can purchase, renew, and refund commuter cards and have your youth card delivered in the app if it is from DSB.

If you experience any issues while using the app, you can call us at 70 13 14 15 every day from 7 AM to 8 PM.

*Check in with DSB’s app costs the same as a personal Rejsekort if you are an adult in the age range 26-66. As a youth aged 18 to 25 and 67+, you will receive your usual age discount.

I had to buy as a guest, which took a while to figure out I could do, because when I registered, the SMS verification code did not come though (to +39) after several attempts. I'm not sure how prevelant PayPal is for Europeans, though many payment sites offer it as an option, but that is convenient for me (Canada)...that last bit isn't a complaint, just an observation.

Problems seen when using the automatic trip feature: Vibrations don't work when notifying that you should check out. App often thinks I have left the train when I am riding it. It sometimes thinks that I have switched travel mode when I haven't, so a trip on the E train showed I was on the E, then buses 5C, 11, 4A, and 500S. I had several issues getting my 15 yo child setup, but finally got it working; the process has too many steps that can go wrong.

can't recommend at all, especially not the check in system they have, as it quite often overcharge for a journey, and while the customer support can refund the money overcharged, it unfortunately takes up to 20 bank days for that to happen. edit: Furthermore it sometimes randomly sign you out of the app, forcing you to sign in again, which is really troublesome when trying to board a train as you can't buy a ticket, and need to secure a valid ticket in another way, or miss the train entirely.
