TP-Link Tapo

I feel like this is false advertising. My C425 cameras advertised that they are compatible with Google Home but it appears they are not viewable from in the app. This means that if you have cameras from multiple manufacturers you are unable to view them all in one place. Unfortunately, this is a deal breaker and I will be returning these cameras. Also, linking the tapo app caused all my TP-Link light switches to become unreachable, I had to add them all back manually.

Not a bad app. Easy to set up new devices. I love that it rolls in Kasa items. Sometimes it takes a long time (10-20 sec) to communicate with a cam, which you have to wait for with every setting change. Why isn't there a simple toggle for cams Do Not Disturb for x time?? Having to set (and remember to turn off) a schedule for it is nuts. Frequently the widgets just spin forever, which stinks. Smartbulb control is decent, weirdly less so for strips. Overall a decent app, with some annoyances.

From my experience with other brands and cameras, this Tapo C-120 camera is total garbage! In last few months I had to re-connect my 3 cameras a dozen times! It's totally garbage! Every other week they run into some issues and disconnect from the app and I cannot check my cameras! They are not working for few days to few weeks, then I'm getting tired of it and have to re-set the whole thing from scratch again and again! Total waste of time and money! Just buy some other brand, not this garbage!
