like others, started using after the end of kiwi. experience has been mostly positive, support for extensions is a big plus. built in dark mode works similar to kiwi but needs an AMOLED option. also the animations in the tab selection menu need work. every time it's opened the bottom and top bars flicker which is distracting and takes away from an otherwise mostly fluid experience. update: latest update has significantly reduced bottom bar flicker. top bar flicker remains.

I switched from Kiwi browser after it was discontinued and have been using this for a while. I do miss Kiwi, but after some getting used to, I'm happy with Edge Canary overall. Installation of extensions are only possible via crx files, which is cumbersome, but once set up it's all good. My only issue is, that downloaded files go in /android/data/_/downloads instead of /downloads, which is annoying sometimes. Overall I believe this is a great browser, a better chromium derivative than Chrome

The app persistently force closes, making it very unreliable and inconsistent. I used Canary for quite a while because it was the easiest access to Bing Chat and also allowed installation of desktop extensions. Now that I'm having major problems with it and the Copilot app exists, I have decided to move to Iceraven for a more stable and private experience that supports extensions and non-Chromium browser development! The switch has honestly been long overdue.
