It's easier just to use a card, and actually I had to do that, because the card reader said "can't read chip card" when I held my phone up with Google wallet open - make things easy to use or don't make them. Here's how it should work: open your phone, hold phone to card reader, payment complete. If I have to open the app and mess around with it in any way, it's easier just to pull a physical card out of my wallet.

lately its been doing this annoying thing where it switches cards at the last minute. I'll make a payment with card A for the items I want to pay with that card for. then I'll switch to card B, and make a second payment for the other items. the app with show card B, but in reality it just charged card A which means I get to wait 2 weeks for a refund. edit: not sure what this review has to do with dual apps. I don't have it enabled.

A year later update: the carousel method to choose a card hasn't been improved at all. It's still much slower than previously to go through cards as you need to wait for the animation to complete each time. If you frequently use different cards (I travel a lot), then it's very frustrating. It used to be so much better with just a simple list of cards on the app. At least the reliability got better.
