App is saying I don't have internet connection. I've tried clearing cache, uninstall and reinstall app, changed my password, restarted my phone and nothing is working my other apps are working fine. It's definitely Chime that's the problem. Fix this bug. I will be calling customer service very soon because I won't be without having access to MY OWN MONEY!!

customer service is hard to get a hold of and the agent I spoke with had a hard time understanding the issue or how to deal with it. I was trying to update the external expired card I use to add instant funds to my chime card. same number but different expiration date and code. the card works fine; the app just doesn't want to update. They didn't resolve it either. I do like several features of this card. But, all I can say is NOTHING replaces human interaction when you need a solution.

The latest app design is a perfect example of if it ain't broke, don't fix it. two designs ago, I was able to access my debit and credit cards with one or two clicks. now? it's buried behind multiple layers of obfuscation and annoyance. prime example of developers getting paid to make things look slick while decreasing usability. by far, the worst app design yet. this is bad.

What's new

This 4th of July, we lit up a few bugs and blasted them into oblivion. Now the app is ready for chillin’, grillin’, or dinner with friends and splitting the billin’. Yes we know, billin’ isn’t a thing. But a world where you can make up words that somewhat rhyme in an app update is exactly the kind of freedom this country’s wooden-teethed founders fought for. Yes, wooden teeth was a thing. Google it. So Happy Fourth, from all of us at Chime! (*no bugs were harmed in the making of this app note.)
