App is OK. Low rating because the TV widget for the phone only works if I unplug the TV's hardwire ethernet cable and is WIFI ONLY. lame. The widget has volume and channel up and down, and some other worthless buttons. Do you know what would actually have value on the widget? A mute button. WHY doesn't it have a mute? If you go into the app, then TV controller the mute button is there! PUT IT ON THE WIDGET please!

I've had this tv and app for about two years, never had much of an issue. Recently got a new phone and logged in to the app to find my device missing. so that's fine, I know how to add it back up. Click add device, tv, then it loads and gives up. I've tried uninstalling app, trying a different phone which has always had the app and worked, and same thing: device is gone. Tried it on there thinking it's just a phone issue, still loaded and gave up. Updated tv, same issue.

I used to be an LG loyalist, telling everyone they should buy this brand. The new push to sync all tvs into the app and "connected" device has really slowed everything down, imo. The tvs seemingly have way more connectivity issues than ever before. Apps may or may not work when turning on the TV. Have had to factory reset two TVs in the past week. brutal. figure it out LG
