Reverse: 1999 is a 20th Century Time-Travel Strategic RPG developed by Bluepoch.
On the last day of 1999, the "Storm" fell upon the world. You witnessed an era reversed beneath the rising raindrops. Defying all reasons, what unfolds in front of you is the world of an era long past.
As the Timekeeper, observer of eras, you are free to travel through these eras after each "Storm." With the aid of Sonetto, a powerful Arcanist and ally from the Foundation, your mission is to travel through eras to where the "Storm" is most active, find other Arcanists who can sense the coming "Storm," and save them from being "sifted out" of the timeline.

I've been playing since release, and this game's story, concept, and execution are top-notch. The gacha mechanics are good but not central to access the story. You are not hard gated behind exponentially increasing resources as the characters have level caps they will hit. The voice acting in English is a bit weird, but somehow, it fits the universe, I hope the other language packs do the same thing. Play at night right before bed or in the morning, as the rain atmosphere sets the tone.

Played since release! Gameplay can get pretty monotonous, except for the harder content. I've been pretty lucky with my pulls, so I don't face issues with clearing that harder content, as long as I am being intentional with my characters. Story is lots of fun and characters are the most unique I've seen in gacha games, I love the English voice acting, they cast people with accents so you can imagine them as real people. It's so impressive!

The game so far is REALLY good. With its complex and compelling story and phenomenal character designs, it's really won my heart. The gacha rates are really good too, and I appreciate that you can go back and play past events you've missed AND STILL GET REWARDS!!! Genuinely awesome stuff. But for the love of god add a way to grind cacophony. The resonance rocks. please. They're so painful to get, and you can't progress without high resonance so C'MON
