About this app

Habit Hunter (Originally Goal Hunter) is a free app that helps you build a habit of creating and managing your goal logically and effectively. Set personal goals, break down goals into tasks (or to-do list), track your progress, and motivate yourself to achieve new heights!

What can you do with the Habit Hunter app?
Habit Hunter uses a special technique, called Gamification, which will turn your goal, habit, and task to an RPG game. In the game, you'll become a hero finding ways to win monsters and save people. The more task you complete in your real life, the stronger the hero will be.

Furthermore, Habit hunter lets you:

- Plan your goals/habits/task with an easy-to-use interface
- Break down goals into smaller todo list/milestones
- Set smart reminders for each task
- View daily habit, todo list in Habit Calendar
- Complete task and gain reward like coins, skills, armors, weapons
- Level up the hero in the game
- Fight monsters and unlock items

This app is like an improved version of habitica! I really like it. It's the best one I've been able to find that works as both a game and a habit/ to-do list/goal tracker. My only recommendations are: 1. make it so that you can move yourself instead of the game automatically moving you around; 2. make so that you can encounter other players in the game an fight them; 3. make the list of guilds searchable.

On day 2. Okay so far. Motivation to check tasks off a list is a positive. I haven't figured out how to check my stats were before accepting a battle. I'd like to be able to check off several tasks at once without being interrupted, and then battle, rather than forgetting to check off the third because of being interrupted by a mushroom. It's unclear whether you are penalized for delaying a battle. A demo of the premium features would be nice.

I love the concept, but the execution is awful. It would be good, but you spend more time watching ads on the app than actually using the app, and they aren't the short ones you can skip. Each ad has three screens (seriously, it's faster to close the app and reopen it). Also, when you set "reminders" on habits, they're actually setting a "due time", so they're not really reminders. You can't complete a habit after the "reminder" time, which defeats the purpose of a reminder.
