I had no calculator app listed on my new phone, so I looked in PlayStore. Top of the list was advertised a simple app. I tried installing, but it opened to a link to TikTok, which started to play videos - so I uninstalled it from phone settings. I looked again in PlayStore, only to find that apparently there was a calculator already on my phone (perhaps transferred from my previous phone). I tested the calculator - in some ways better, scientific, but no memory function - I shall uninstall.

What the h--l did they do to this? In would think it'd be practically impossible to ruin a simple calculator app, but they certainly have! Vibrates twice on every button press, once when you touch it, once when you let go and NO way to change this behavior, weird, clunky, slow way of saving and recalling numbers from memory, I mean, come on, it's a CALCULATOR. Not rocket surgery.

I don't like this latest update. Now, if you're calculating a string of numbers, it does not show you a running list of what your calculations are. It only shows you your updated total. If I'm balancing the checkbook, I can't see the exact number that I just entered into the calculator, so I could easily make a mistake because I'm not seeing the latest number being entered. Update: now it IS showing a string of numbers. I don't know what I did different!!
