Airthings customer service is horrible. If your device goes haywire like mine did, they ask for you to spend 30 day test periods repeatedly so that your warranty and return period expires. I have 2 of them and on one, the radon detector portion went suddenly and unbelievably high. (9+ when it had been consistently in the 1 to 2 range for a few months) The other sensor at that location disagrees. They have no returns process listed, and have no intention of ever honoring any warranty.

New app is 500 times better than the old version. The old one would fail to sync, not communicate, and just not work. The new version syncs much better, communicates quicker, and just works. The device is really good and with the new version of the app it's a solid 4. The reason for 1 star off is it still takes a while to communicate and sync, but it has never fails to do so (which the previous version would fail about half the time).

Horrible experience. It hasn't connected and gotten an actual sync in over a week. The Bluetooth connection is total garbage. When it does connect, it asks me to upgrade the firmware which has failed 20+ times. This whole thing is a total waste of time and money. I wish I had read these reviews which are conveniently not reflected on their website before buying this junk. On top of that, I don't really trust the measurements. Wild swings and some things got worse when the window was open.
